Romanian Orphans

One year after the overthrow of Romanian dictator, Nicolae Ceausescu, over 130,000 orphans are still being warehoused in appalling conditions. Parents, unable to cope with large families because of chronic shortages of jobs, food and fuel, dump unwanted children into state institutions. Images and story coming soon.
